Versace's Vanitas Handbag Collection

In the Versace lexicon, the word VANITAS has been used in a variety of ways: as a description of the rich embellishments and embroideries synonymous with the Versace collections of the 1990s, as the name of the first chair that Gianni Versace designed, as well as of the influential series of books he published, and most recently, for the popular Versace women's and men's fragrances.

With the launch of the VANITAS handbag collection, which features quilted leather and the Medusa icon, Donatella Versace celebrates the rich heritage of the House of Versace.
